Middle school class trips extend and integrate school curriculum within an outdoor/cultural setting. Middle School students travel with their grade level classmates to a particular site in the South Asian/Asian region.
Middle School Class Trips are designed to help students develop the AIS Dhaka Dispositions, which are as follows:
- Open Minded
Each Class Trip will have the following components in place:
Students will develop skills in effective communication, cooperation, and problem solving by taking part in safe and developmentally appropriate outdoor physical and intellectual challenges.
Intercultural and Environmental Awareness
Students will learn about the culture and the ecology of a particular site and region.
Students will take part in a service learning activity(s) that will benefit the local population and/or the environment.
Trips sites are chosen and itineraries are developed to ensure that students have a safe and positive learning experience.
