Discover the AISD MS/HS Library
It’s Not Just About Books Anymore!!
The MS/HS Library at AISD has a wealth of resources for our patrons. All AISD students, parents, faculty and staff are entitled to free library memberships.
Destiny - Online Catalog
Our online catalog, Destiny, allows patrons to search our collection as well as related websites. If patrons log on to Destiny, they can utilize the catalog more fully. When logged in, patrons can create resource lists, self-renew books, place their own holds, keep track of books that they have read and want to read and more. AISD patrons use their school ID for both usernames and passwords in Destiny.
All library patrons are able to have up to 10 resources checked out at one time. Resources may be checked out for two weeks.
eBooks & Audiobooks
Our library has eBooks in our collection via FollettShelf. Patrons can search available FollettShelf titles via Destiny, our online catalog. To log into FollettShelf, AISD patron ID numbers serve as both the usernames and passwords. We also have a collection of PlayAways (audiobooks) available for checkout in the library.
To extend our library and provide quality resources for research, AISD subscribes to a variety of databases such as EBSCO, Newsbank, World Book and JSTOR. These resources require a login. Usernames and passwords are available in the library or on PowerSchool. These library resources are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, anywhere patrons have internet access.
Magazines & Newspapers
The library has a tremendous variety of general interest magazines in English, Spanish, French and Bangla as well as professional journals.
The library offers iPads, laptops, printers, LCD projectors and scanners for patron use.
Please feel free to ask our library team for help. We would love to answer questions, point you in the right direction, or recommend a novel for personal reading.
