Welcome to Admissions!

The American International School Dhaka (AISD) is a multicultural institution with an American curriculum structure taught in the English language offering both the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and an American High School Diploma.

Our primary purpose is to provide quality education for expatriate children. In addition to expatriate children, we welcome a limited number of children from Bangladesh.

This page has everything you need to know about applying to AISD. Our Application Process Guide, accessible through the link below, has detailed information on how to apply online. We have a rolling admissions policy meaning student can join AISD almost any time during the school year.  For students looking to join in at the beginning of the school year, we recommend applications be submitted well in advance of their arrival into Bangladesh, preferably before the end of their current semester.

Our friendly and professional Admissions team is here to help. Whether you are looking to join us from a different country or from a school in Bangladesh, we have the support and expertise to help you in every step of the admissions process. For a campus tour, please book an appointment in advance  by email at aisdadmissions@aisdhaka.org. If you would like to speak with us directly, please call Suzanne Herbert, Director of Student Support Services & Admissions, at +880-171-3396783.

PARTNERING WITH PARENTS

The research overwhelmingly demonstrates that parental involvement in their child’s learning is positively related to achievement. The research shows that, the more involved parents are in their child's learning, the more a child achieves and works to his/her potential.

Furthermore, parental involvement is positively related to benefits other than student achievement.
