Cafeteria & Food Service

AISD operates its own cafeteria offering freshly prepared, nutritious meals for our students and staff made daily on site in our own kitchens. Our highly skilled team of hospitality professionals prepare a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian snacks, entrees, and set menus available for purchase during school days. We only use the best quality ingredients from reputable suppliers.

AISD follows strict food service safety and cleanliness guidelines in accordance with the United States Embassy protocols. Our facilities are regularly inspected by the US Embassy Health Unit and provide annual training to the cafeteria staff.

After school and on weekends our staff operate the Breezeway Cafe serving light snacks to fortify both students and community members after hours. In addition to our in-house service, NorthEnd Coffee Roasters operates a premium coffee shop from early morning till evening, 7 days a week.

School Bus

AISD’s fleet of customized school busses provide students with door-to-door service from home to campus for regular school hours and before/after school activities. All our drivers are First Aid CPR AED trained through the American Heart Association (AHA) and renew their certificate every two years. 

All school buses have an adult bus monitor on board when students are being transported. The bus monitor supervises students and ensures all pick-ups and drop-offs occur smoothly

Door-to-door bus service is provided at no additional cost to families.

Campus Card

An AISD Campus ID/Debit Card is our community's all-in-one access to the campus. A personalized campus card is issued to all new AISD students, parents, and staff. This card enables holders to enter the AISD campus, check out library materials, purchase food, beverages and other items in the cafeteria, coffee shop, and the PTA Store without the transfer of cash.

Student card setting are customizable by parents enabling them to set daily spend limits. Cards are topped up online or at our business office.
